Terry Glubka

As CEO of Eden Medical Center, Ms. Glubka is responsible for the strategic direction of acute care services for a full-service 130-bed hospital with 1,100 employees, 550 medical staff members and 100 volunteers.

Ms. Glubka became CEO of Eden in 2014. Prior to that, she was CEO of Sutter Solano Medical Center (SSMC). Ms. Glubka also held executive positions as deputy chief operating officer at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose and chief nursing officer/chief operations officer at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy.

Ms. Glubka brings to Eden a commitment to preserving the community’s access to quality health care. Through aggressive physician recruitment and retention, she plans to develop specialty service lines and increase multispecialty physician access. Through partnerships with physician groups and other health care providers, she plans to improve specialty and primary care access for the community.

During her time at SSMC, Ms. Glubka oversaw several major capital projects in Solano County. Under her guidance, the hospital constructed a $24.5 million, 60,000 square foot cancer center and medical office building. She has led numerous multi-million dollar renovation projects at SSMC, such as those in Diagnostic Imaging Services, the Emergency Department, Outpatient Ambulatory Services and Endoscopy Services.

Through strong relationships with influential health care, business and community leaders, Ms. Glubka has improved health care access for Solano County’s most vulnerable populations—the uninsured and underinsured. Her work with La Clinica and other health care providers resulted in the opening of a new clinic to serve these patients, and later an expansion of the clinic to serve even greater numbers. Ms. Glubka also led a project team to open an Interim Care Program to care for those who are discharged from the hospital and still require minimal medical care. Additionally, Ms. Glubka led an initiative with La Clinica to open an Emergency Department Navigator Program, which provides onsite patient advocates for emergency room visitors.

Ms. Glubka serves as a board member for Hospital Council of Northern California, East Bay Hospital Council and the Touro University Advisory Board. With more than 30 years experience in the health care industry, Ms. Glubka is well-respected for her viewpoints and visionary outlook. She holds an undergraduate degree in nursing and a graduate degree in business administration.
